Well that would be me:) Yep my beautiful wife and I have become parents to our first born son Reuben James O' Herlihy. Little Reuben came into the world on June 1st at 5:24 pm and weighing in at a tubby 8.2 lbs. It has taken a week to pull myself away from him and his mum to jot a little something down here. No photos at the moment as I have lost the cable for the camera, but they will be all over this blog soon.
A penny for my thoughts? Well thanks for asking, I feel born again with him, the world is now a different place or it seems so, I feel strangely the same, yet boy oh boy how the world and everything it has changed.
Praise the Lord who is the giver of life and the giver of little Reuben, let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Yep I need to sleep more.

That's fantastic; big hugs to you both and a tiny one for Reuben - I can't wait to see him! I think it's actually more of a shock for the dad, because the mum has been aware of the baby's reality for so long.
